The Ghanaian music industry is going to witness the largest feud. Though the business is rife with feuds between rappers, one that has yet to blow is between a gospel singer and a highlife musician.
We're all aware that Gospel singers Great Ampong and Daddy Lumba are feuding after a recent misunderstanding. The friendship between the two music titans ended abruptly.
After the event, as Ampong was taking photographs with his followers without his knowledge, the management of Lumba quickly took away the money they earned from the premiere of the "Hossana" song.
In 2016, Daddy Lumba and Kwadwo Ampong founded the group Kojo Kojo, which released the hit track "Hossana" in 2016. The two artists agreed to split the proceeds from the song's release, but Lumba pocketed the money.
To date, the two have not spoken and so carry out their musical tasks separately.
It was discovered that Great Ampong went into the studio to create a diss song for Daddy Lumba. When it is published, the song will be the biggest banger since the content is serious and portrays Ampong's thoughts.
Buddy Roro, the sound engineer who worked on this song, has turned to his social media sites to tease the fans with a preview.
He can be seen enthusiastically grooving out to the unreleased music while the first hook plays in the background.
