Former 'Sex In The Citi' Host Jessica Opare Saforo Reveals Why She Quit Citi FM

Talented female media personality  Opare-Saforo has now addressed her lengthy silence on why she left Citi FM/Citi TV a year ago.

The former TV and radio host, who is also a voice-over artist, YouTuber, and fitness fanatic, left the Adabraka-based station after 17 years on January 28, 2022.

The 41-year-old had presented several of the station's major programmes like 'Brunch in the Citi', 'Sex in the Citi', and 'Upside Down'.

It was unknown why she decided to leave her passionate profession after nearly two decades working with them. Jessica has spoken out publicly about her departure for the first time.

In a YouTube video uploaded on her channel Jessica OS, the biker lady bared it all stating "I left Citi because I thought it was time".

"It was time to truly explore being me. I had hit a milestone of 40 years a few months earlier and I felt I knew that as soon as I hit 40 I was going to quit. It was just a matter of time and I wanted to do that before I turned 41," she explained.

Jessica is the CEO of The Voice Ova Company, a voice talent management company.

Jessica was the Programmes Manager, the anchor of Citi FM's late afternoon show 'Traffic Avenue,' and the relationship talk show 'Sister Sister' on both radio and television before leaving her employment.

She is the voice ambassador for MTN Ghana, the country's largest telecommunications business.

Jessica is still single despite having so many accomplishments to her name.
