Unknown attackers have lynched a 20-year-old guy who dresses as a woman.
According to Bolgatanga-based A1 radio, the young guy from Zanlerigu in the Upper East Region's Nabdam area was discovered at the regional hospital mortuary many weeks after he went missing.
Assemblyman for the Zanlerigu-Dagliga electoral area, Maxwell Divom who spoke to A1 Radio said "On the 3rd of January, it was reported at his father’s house that he was missing. So, we were looking for him, and later, on the 10th day of January, we heard that someone was allegedly killed at Kongo Nag-boug and so, the uncles went to the morgue to see the body and it was identified that it was him [Bugbil Roger Adaboo Toure]."
He stated that when his body was discovered at Kongo, Upper East Region, there were enormous stones around it, indicating that he was stoned to death by various people.
"When the body was found, he was wearing a mini skirt and brassiere which portrayed a lady. Back in the community, he used to move with ladies, so, we don’t know why he was wearing a mini skirt and brassier", the assemblyman disclosed further in an exclusive interview with Bolgatanga-based A1 Radio.
The Assemblyman also claimed that the guy whose is given name is Bugbil Roger Adaboo Toure, has been a target for a long time since he is a cross-dresser.
"Yes, that is the talk in the community, that since they detected he was a guy [but] dressed that way, they thought that he was coming to steal or he was trying to deceive men that he was a female. Others even said he [late Bugbil Roger Adaboo Toure] ever did that on phone and some men thought he was a female and sent him credit. Even though that cannot be substantiated", the Zanlerigu-Dagliga assemblyman is quoted by A1 Radio.
His family has already requested that the police investigate the death of their son.
