In the Ningo Prampram Constituency, the National Democratic Congress NDC leadership is purportedly gathering its people to hoot at President Akufo-Addo today when he visits the region.

As part of his travels to inaugurate new initiatives and pay visits to traditional leaders, President Akufo-Addo is anticipated to arrive in the constituency.

According to their NPP counterparts, the local NDC executives have organized party members to boo the president when he comes.

John Charway, an executive with the NPP, called the NDC executives' behaviour "extremely disgraceful."

"Because the President is coming to Ningo Prampram today, the NDC guys here are organising their members to come and hoot at the president. Very shameful!" He said.

Hooting Akufo Addo

President Akufo-Addo was booed by several attendees at the 2022 Global Citizen Festival in Black Star Square as he stood on the stage to make a speech.

When the president was heard proclaiming "the whole world is in Ghana today," the throng, which was primarily made up of young men and women, was heard yelling "away, away."

The President found it difficult to address the audience as a result.

The president and his entourage were reportedly travelling through a community in the Eastern Region when some Akyem Akroso locals were observed booing them.

According to @PrinceHenry PHK, a Twitter user, the president was booed because of the terrible state of the area's roadways.

A high cost of living, poor roads, and skyrocketing fuel costs are just a few of the issues that have led Ghanaians to boo the president whenever they have the chance.

Additionally, as the president and his entourage passed through Adum while on a commissioning tour of the Ashanti region, some market ladies and men booed at them.
