Veteran Ghanaian actress Maame Dokono, Madam Grace Omaboe, revealed her biggest regret to Delay. She says that she regrets divorcing her first husband stating that she wasn't mature enough to understand his compassion.
More people are posting an old video of the actress discussing her previous marriages in the hopes that her message will be heard by many others.
"I have been married twice, but I suffered very much during the last one. I always say that if I knew how my second marriage would have turned out, I would have stayed with my first husband," Maame Dokono told Delay.
Maame Dokono stated that she felt pressured to leave a wonderful man because of her disagreements with her first husband's family and her ignorance.
She disclosed that despite being married to someone else, they have kept up a friendly connection in which he helps her out when she needs it.
Mame Dokono claims that her second husband came with all the frivolous stuff but mistreated her.
"I always say that if I knew the intricacies of marriage that I know now, I wouldn’t have left him ( her first husband).
"After leaving these two marriages, I want to devote my life to helping underprivileged women and children."
Maame Dokono offered some advice to Delay and single women everywhere before calling the conversation to a close.
Be patient, she said, and find a husband who will support you. A guy who cares for you Not someone who will trick you with his wealth and good looks.
"Communicate with him so that you can understand each other. Don’t be too proud. Time changes. Be humble and find a good man. Good men are scarce, so when you find one, cherish him like an egg."
