The Christ Invasion Church's Reverend Bernard Achiuior has warned against oral sex, saying that the act of licking someone's privates for sex is more demonic than actual intercourse.
The Nigerian pastor, who is also a lecturer and consultant in economics, is certain that the practice is against Christian doctrine and that Christians should abstain from it because of the serious repercussions.
"Don’t let anyone lick your private part. It is more demonic than lovemaking…,’he warned.
Reactions to Reverend Bernard Achiuior's suggestion have been divided, with some making light of it and others demanding that he show biblical support for his assertion.
"Your statement would be more powerful if accompanied with the bible verse. Remember Joshua 7:17 where it says enjoy sexual intimacy and more of foreplay, go down on your partner and rejoice. Which verse goes against this?" one commentator quizzed.
Oral sex is still a divisive topic within Christianity due to differing views on it. While some Christians hold the opinion that abortion is not forbidden, others are primarily opposed to it.
