The most current FIFA Rankings, which were released on December 21, 2022, in the wake of the World Cup in Qatar, show a little increase for Ghana.
The Black Stars have moved up three spots to 58th in the global rankings, from 61st.
Their rise may be attributed to victories against Switzerland and Nicaragua prior to the World Cup, as well as South Korea during the competition in Qatar.
Black Stars scored 1400 points, however, they now don't have a coach because Otto Addo quit after their World Cup campaign was cut short.
The continent's 11th-ranked team are the four-time African champions.
Morocco has moved up to position 11 on the world ranking after their impressive performance in Qatar, taking Senegal's place as the top African nation.
On their way to being the first African team to make it to the World Cup semifinals, they defeated Belgium, Canada, Spain, and Portugal.
