Baba Rahman Finally Comments About His Performance At The 2022 World Cup In Qatar

Baba Rahman

Baba Rahman has spoken candidly about his World Cup performance in 2022, calling it a fun experience competing against Son Heung-min and Ronaldo.

The 28-year-old played against Portugal, entered as a substitute against South Korea, and then participated for the entire 90 minutes against Uruguay as the Black Stars were eliminated from the competition in the group stage.

Baba has come under heavy fire for both how well he did in the tournament and how he was picked over Gideon Mensah of AJ Auxerre.

The Black Stars defender admitted that playing in the World Cup means going up against superstars like Son Heung-min and Cristiano Ronaldo.

"So, it was a nice experience playing against them, but I mean, I’ve played against Son several times when we played in Germany, so it was a nice experience."

Touching on Reading’s game on Saturday against Coventry, he said: "It’s always nice I mean having a home game and I’m looking forward to this weekend and hopefully we can get the three points."
