Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu, a former midfielder for Ghana, has shockingly stated that he will cut off all of his hair if Ghana is eliminated from the 2022 World Cup after the group stage.

The 31-year-old stated this at the introduction of the analysts for Media General's coverage of the 2022 World Cup on Tv3 New Day.

The former Udinese player joins a distinguished group of pundits for Tv3, which also includes Jerry Akaminko, Eva Otchere, and Shilla Illiasu.

Agyemang-Badu agreed that the group has made progress and should be able to go to the round of 16.

"Gradually we are doing well with set pieces. We are not up there yet. Now that we have a good bench. I’m not too sure that this team will go down that they cannot qualify from the group. If it doesn’t happen I will shave all my hair."

"I can bet everything this team will qualify from the group. If Ghana doesn’t qualify from the group stage, I will shave it here. I am so optimistic about this team," he added.

Agyemang-Badu participated in the 2014 World Cup, which saw Ghana ousted in the group stages, however, he missed the 2010 World Cup due to injury.

In Group H of the 2022 World Cup, Ghana will compete against Uruguay, South Korea, and Portugal.
