Samuel Koku Anyidoho, a former deputy general secretary for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has delivered a flurry of severe warnings to the political party in advance of the national elections scheduled for December 2022.
He claims that, as far as he is aware, he has not been fired from the NDC and is thus eligible to vote when the party holds elections to choose national officers.
However, he will be forced to postpone the elections with a court injunction if it turns out that his name has been removed from the party's register.
"Just for the record; Nobody has sacked me from the NDC and so if Asiedu-Nketiah, perfidiously removes my name from the voting register, I will have no opinion but to place an injunction on the National Election. Aluta Continua," he said in a tweet.
It might be recalled that Koku Anyidoho was expelled from the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in accordance with a letter from the General Secretary of the NDC.
This came after he was accused of acting in a way that was seen to be anti-party.
After a petition was presented to the highest decision-making body of the party and an inquiry into the claims in the petition was done, Koku Anyidoho was fired.
