About Job
Our multinational client which deals in automotive products and provides transport solutions to its customers requires an experienced Business Sales Consultant to join their team in Ghana. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be primarily responsible for promoting and selling companies' products and services which include contracted services, financial services, fleet management, spare parts, and others in order to increase the profitable growth of the company.
Responsibilities include;
- Identify new potential customers and total market potential.
- Develop sales structure and customer base through local segmentation.
- Actively participate in campaigns and customer events, fairs, organizing demonstrations
- Cooperate with internal stakeholders to achieve business objectives
- Analyse customer list and set targets for customers
- Plan and prepare customer contacts through phone calls, emails and meetings
- Identify the customer's total needs and evaluate the probability to get a and close deal
- Increase the customer base by working actively with contacting prospects
- Build and maintain long-term business relations with selected customers at the right level
- Verify prospects’ needs, both conscious and non-conscious
- Act professionally as the company’s ambassador and market the full range of business products and services
- Follow-up on quotation, actual and targets sales and act on deviations
- Be and act as the preferred contact person for all commercial demands from the customer be it used vehicles, rental, services, demos.
- Liaise with other departments in order to collect the requested information and communicate with the customers.
Requirements
- Must have at least an HND in Marketing, Business Administration or any related field.
- Must have at least four (4) years of sales working experience.
- Must have a strong sales background and a valid driver’s license.
- Should be able to persuade and influence others to obtain their buy-in and support for a specific course.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills.
- Pays attention to detail, team player, innovative and creative thinker.
- Willingness to travel across all the regions in Ghana and West Africa.
- Ability to explore positions and alternatives to reach the best possible outcome by seeking mutual benefits and maintaining relationships in business discussions with counterparts.
