Police have determined that the two suspects, Michael Darko alias Nana 1 and Christopher Ekow Clarke, had murdered one additional person as part of their ongoing investigation into the Mankessim murder case.
The number of verified victims of the suspects' brutal murders now stands at two.
Gloria Yeboah, a petty trader from Obokrom in Kumasi, was the second victim of murder. Gloria was reported missing sometime in June 2022 after she left her house in an effort to travel overseas.
Investigations by the police indicate that the suspects enticed the deceased to Accra on June 17, 2022, and then drove her to Mankessim on the pretence of getting her ready to fly to Holland.
She was later murdered by them, nevertheless.
Gloria Yeboah's body has been discovered, and authorities have been able to contact her relatives, who have confirmed her identity.
In a statement, the Police said that they are giving the family the help they need during these trying times.
Additionally, the police are pursuing a tip regarding a third victim who may have been killed by the perpetrators.
The results of the investigations to date indicate that the accused have committed ritual killings.
They entice their victims, sometimes seeming to be able to assist them in leaving the country, and then they murder them.
We, therefore, urge any member of the public who has dealt with the suspects or knows someone who has ever dealt with them to contact the police on 0243809991 to assist the investigation. We would like the public to note that this is a temporal number dedicated only to this investigation, a portion of the statement appealed.
