Three students of the University of Education Winneba have been confirmed dead in a fatal accident on the Aperadi-Somanya road where they were headed on an educational trip.
According to reports, the driver of the bus lost the power to keep the bus within limits when he was descending the Aprede mountain.
The students were rushed to the Yilo Krobo District Hospital in Somanya for treatment.
Dr Jacqueline Mensah Darkwah, the Medical Superintendent of the Yilo Krobo District Hospital, who confirmed the incident explained that the 28 others who sustained injuries are in good health.
