Fire Outbreak At The Korle Bu Police Barracks Kills Two Including A 65 Years Old Woman

Two people lost their lives in a fire that occurred on the night of Wednesday, April 27 at the Korle Bu Police Barracks, the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) has announced in a statement.

The victims were an 11-year-old girl and a 56-year-old woman, the statement indicated.



Also affected were a one-week old baby, a three-year-old boy and a 32-year-old adult, it added.

They were rescued and are currently receiving treatment at the Korle Bu teaching hospital, the GNFS said.
