Ghanaian musician Eugene Kwame Marfo popularly known as Kuami Eugene has revealed what went into his life at the time he was trying to get his feet into the music industry.

The young hiplife artiste who was raised in Fadama has disclosed that he used to sell CDs containing his songs in commercial vehicles but nobody was buying them.


The 2020 VGMA artiste of the year also revealed that aside from people not patronising his CDs, he was also receiving trash talks like "who knows you" from people he tried to convince to buy from him.

Eugene made this known in an interview on Maame Grace's Celebrities Pulpit show.


According to the Rockstar, he can even go to the extent of giving freestyle and people will applaud him but still will purchase his music CDs.

Eugene during the interview used his life before his breakthrough in the music industry to advise his listeners that giving up should not be part of their story.
