President Akufo Addo Orders LGBTQ Offices In Ghana To Be Closed Down With Immediate Effect

The Ghanaian media has over the week been flooded with the news of the legitimacy of Lesbian Gay Bisexuals Transgender Queer (LGBTQ) in Ghana.

This became a serious and much talked about topic in the country after the office of this group was opened in Tesano in the Greater Accra Region.

Many Ghanaian including politicians, musicians and religious leaders have jumped onto the topic with various views.

Most of the views from the aforementioned groups were requesting the government to close all offices of the LGBTQ in the country.

Acting on the request of the people, President Akuffo Addo has ordered the closure of the LGBTQ office located in Tesano.

A report sighted of MyNewsGh.com reveals that some heavily armed police personnel together with some National Security officials were at the Tesano LGBTQ office and ordered the operations and activities in the office to be ceased with immediate effect.

This movement which is finding its way in Ghana started from New York City in the United State.

It later spreads to other states and now all over the world. While many Ghanaians have objected to the legalization of the LGBTQ in the country others like Wanlov, Sister Deborah, Pappy Kojo and others are also fighting for it to be legalized.
