Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Registers For The New Voter Identification Card


Asantehene has registered for the new voter's ID card.

Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has also acquired his Voters Identification Card.

The compilation of the new voter register has struck a lot of controversies in the country of which most of which are coming from the biggest opposition party.


Despite the controversies surrounding it, many Ghanaians have responded to it by leaving the comfort of their homes to the registration centres to get themselves registered.

The Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and his lovely wife Lady Julia Osei Tutu, on Monday, visited their voting centre at the Manhyia Palace and got themselves registered.


The gorgeous couple went through all the normal process every other citizen at the scene went through to get their voters identification card.

The king of the Ashanti Kingdom did not go to the registration centre alone but with other dignitaries like Mr Simon Osei Mensah (Ashanti Regional Minister), Dr Mathew Opoku Prempeh (MP for Manhyia South) and Mr Ben Banor-Bio (Ashanti Regional Director of Electoral Commission).



The president of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo earlier yesterday also acquired his Voters Identification Card.
