Grammy Award-winning singer Lizzo, also known as Melissa Viviane Jefferson, finds herself embroiled in a storm of controversy as filmmaker Sophia Nahli Allison joins the list of accusers.

Allison, an Oscar-nominated director, took to Twitter on August 2 to share her unsettling experience working with the singer back in 2019.

In her tweet, Allison revealed that she was initially supposed to direct Lizzo's documentary but had to leave the project after just two weeks due to what she described as disrespectful treatment.

She further alleged that Lizzo displayed arrogance, selfishness, and unkind behavior during their collaboration.

These fresh accusations come hot on the heels of a bombshell lawsuit filed against Lizzo earlier this week.

The suit, filed by three former dancers, accused the singer of sexual harassment and creating a hostile work environment.

Although Allison did not explicitly mention the documentary's name, it's worth noting that Lizzo released a documentary titled "Love, Lizzo" last year, chronicling her career and rise to fame.

In addition to the recent allegations, paperwork obtained by multiple US outlets also revealed troubling incidents involving Lizzo and her dancers.

The documents alleged that Lizzo pressured one of her dancers to touch a nude performer at a club in Amsterdam and commented on another performer's weight gain.

Furthermore, Lizzo reportedly invited her dancers to a strip club after a performance, leading to favoritism among those who attended.

As these serious allegations surface, Lizzo and her production company, Big Grrrl Big Touring, Inc, along with dance captain Shirlene Quigley, face significant scrutiny.

The allegations highlight issues of power abuse and mistreatment in the entertainment industry.
