The owners of Joy Industries have voiced their dissatisfaction with Ghanaian celebrities for consistently failing to uphold their end of the contract with the company.
Through one of its Chief Executive Officers, the company has learned a lot from its dealings with Ghanaian celebrities since it believes they are unappreciative and self-centred.
In a video that has gone viral on social media, the CEO seems concerned by the disrespectful behaviour.
He said that while the organization supported various national artists and celebrities during the boom times, these same individuals have shunned their brands now that every organization is having difficulty.
"We have helped celebrities when they were in crisis. But none of them has decided to help us push any of our brands. When celebrities were struggling, we used them for shows in order for them to get money.
Now when you introduce your brand and you ask them to post on their social media, they will ask for a contract. Now that economies world over are struggling, they do not agree to support us also.
We customized a Tundra and paid Daddy Lumba but he never performed at half of the shows we earmarked for him. Tell him to bring our customized Tundra back," he said.
