John Mahama Finally Reveals Why He Is Rejecting The 2020 Election Result

Former President and the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the just-ended general election John Dramani Mahama has revealed why he has still not conceded defeat after the election results have been declared.

The 2020 general election is by record one of the smoothest presidential and parliamentary elections conducted in this country.

The election after the results are being declared by the Electoral Commission (EC) of Ghana saw the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and President Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo erupting as winners of the presidential seat even though they lost most of their parliamentary seats to the NDC.

The NDC, on the other hand, are not ready to accept Nana Akuffo Addo as the winner because they are positive the Electoral Commission rigged the election in favour of the Elephants.

Former President John Dramani Mahama has finally come out to clear the air on why he is still rejecting the final election results.

According to him, his actions of not accepting the election results declared by the EC are a result of him protecting the country's democratic principles.

He added that in order for Ghana not to repeat what is happening in the future it will be good for the country to learn a lesson from the just-ended election.

He revealed this to the general public during his interview with VOA.

He also revealed that with regards to how the election was conducted, the Electoral Commission alongside President Akuffo Addo is a dent in our democracy.

We are left with a few days for the country to swear in President Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo as the president of the Republic of Ghana for the next four years.

What will the NDC do on that very day? Do they have something under their sleeves to pull on that day or before that day?
